How to Add Listings to The Compare Table
After the Listdom Compare Addon is installed, a new compare icon is added to the listing details page. Pressing this icon will add the listing to the comparison table. Also, this button will be added to some of the Listdom skins and views pre-made styles e.g. Grid view, Half Map, List, etc.
Add-on Settings
The Listdom Compare Addon settings are in the “Compare Addon” section in the Listdom → Settings → Addons. The options in this section are:
Compare Page
Select the compare page from the dropdown list. This page should include the [listdom-compare] shortcode to show the comparison table.
Compare Fields
Select the default fields that should be in the comparison table. The available options are different elements of the listings:
- Image
- Title
- Category
- Price
- Address
- Availability (Work Hours)
- Features
- Tags
- Labels
Custom Fields/Attributes
Besides the default fields, It’s possible to include desired custom fields of the listings in the comparison table. To do that, in the Attributes settings, enable the “Compare” option of the selected field.

Compare Button Widget
The Compare add-on adds a new widget called “(Listdom) Compare Button” to the theme widgets which shows a simple button linked to the compare page.
Final Outcome
The final comparison table based on the styles and theme settings can be like the image below. Pressing the trash icon in the image cell will remove the listing from the table.
