This widget is useful to show a list of the tags, categories, locations, features, or labels of the Listdom.
Where Is This Widget?
To use this widget, go to Appearance → Widgets, and in the widgets list find the “(Listdom) Terms” widget. (Some of the WordPress themes do not show this menu). Depending on your theme, you can add the Listdom Terms widget to various areas of your website, such as sidebars and footers. You can also find widgets in the customization settings with some themes.
Widget Settings
There are some options which we are going to explain there:
- Title: This title appears on top of the widget.
- Taxonomy: Select which taxonomy’s data you want to show. At this time there are tags, categories, locations, features, and labels.
- Display as Dropdown: If set to yes, then instead of showing taxonomies as a list, a dropdown input will be displayed.
- Display Count: If set to yes, the listing count of each category will be displayed next to the name.
- Hierarchical: Shows the taxonomies with a parent and child option in a hierarchy structure.
Note: The empty terms are hidden by default. It means that only the categories, locations, tags, features, or labels with at least one listing included are displayed.
