Where to Start
The Listdomer theme settings let you customize the look of the site in details. To open the options, go to Listdomer → Settings. You can also go to the Appearance → Customize or click on the “Customize” menu in the admin toolbar to open the customization area. All of the options are the same in the Seetings menu and Customizer. So here we explain the settings menu which is more ised by the Listdom users. The available options in the settings are:
General Setting
in this section you can set the general settings for the theme and the site. The available options are:
Site Logo
Upload the logo of the site which will be used in the header and footer of the site.
Colors and Styles
Colors
- Background Color: Select the main background color of the sections. The default color is #e8f1ff.
- Primary Color: The Listdomer displays buttons, separators, and other elements with a gradient effect. The gradient includes two colors and the first one can be determined here.
- Secondary Color: Select the second color of the gradient.
Buttons
Listdomer has 3 types of buttons. They are used based on the effect and importance in the user experience and user interface of the site.

The options are common between all 3 type of buttons except that the Primary button has a second color for the background since it has a gradient background.

- Main Font: Specify the main font properties including font family, weight and style, text align, font size, line height, and font color.
- Links
- Headings (H1 to H6): Determine the typography settings of the H1 to H6 headings of the site.
Header Setting
👇 The below options are available in the Listdomer Pro.
- Header Type: Select from 5 pre-made and ready styles for the site header. You can see the demo of each style here. The type 1 is available in the Listdomer free version and to achieve the four more types you need the Listdomer Pro plugin.
- Select Menu: Select the WordPress menu which should be displayed in the header. Note: If the WordPress menu that is added to the header has dropdown items, they will break into more than one column if the dropdown items exceed 15 items or a specific height.
- Dark Logo
- Background Color: Select the background color of the header.
- Text Color: Select the color of the menu items on the header.
- Hover Text Color:
- Active Text Color:
- Language Switcher: Display WPML language switcher in the header. It works only when WPML is installed and configured correctly.
- Add Listing Button: This option shows a button Linked to “add listing form” of the Listdom frontend dashboard.
- Login & Register: This option displays a button on the header linked to the “login & register form” of the site in the header. The
- Login Redirection Page: Select the redirection page after user login.
- Register Redirection Page: Select the redirection page after user registration. You can use this page to say thank you and guide the users to use your website.
- Social Login Shortcode: You can place social login shortcodes here. Please note that you should configure the social plugin correctly otherwise you may do not see anything as output.
Footer Setting
- Footer Type: In the free version of Listdomer theme, you can use only one pre-made style for the footer. With the Listdomer Pro plugin 5 more types for footer are added to the Listdomer theme.
- Background Color: Select the background color of the footer.
- Title Text Color Color: Select the color of footer columns titles and also the color of email and phone number texts.

Listdomer is mainly supporting Listdom Lite, Listdom Pro and Listdom add-ons views as main listing and directory plugins, and in this section you can change the details related to listings:
General Forms
Customiza the forms used in the Listdom pages e.g. contact form, Report Abuse form, etc. The available options are:

Search Forms
Listdom search and filter forms can have special styles and settings. Use the options below to customize them:

- Icon Color: Set the color of the icons in the search forms e.g. location icon of the location field, more option plus icon.
Frontend Dashboard
- Menus
- Container Background Color: Change the color of the menus container.
- Container Border Radius: Change the border radius of the menus container.
- Background Color: Change the color of the menus background color.
- Text Color: Change the color of the menus text.
- Icon Color: Change the color of the menus text.
- Hover & Active Background Color: Change the dashboard menus hover color.
- Hover Text Color: Change the hover color of the menus text.
- Border: Change the border style of the menus.
- Border Hover: Change the hover style of the menus border.
- Border Radius: Change the border radius of the menus.
404 Page
- Image: Upload an image for the 404 page.
- Title: Set a title for the 404 page.
- Content: Set content for the 404 page.
- Button Text: Set text for the button on the 404 page.
- Button Page: Select the target page of the button.
Codes
In this section, you can add custom codes that you want to add to the website. The available options are:
- Custom CSS: Insert custom CSS code that will be applied globally to the site.
- Custom JavaScript: Insert custom JavaScript code to be executed on every page.
- Header Tracking Codes: Paste your Google Analytics or other tracking codes that should go in the <head> section.
- Footer Tracking Codes: Paste your tracking codes that should go just before the closing </body> tag.
Import / Export
- Import Option: If you have exported the settings of the Listdomer theme either as a file or copied to the clipboard, you can import them here. You can upload a file or import from clipboard. Note: This will overwrite all existing option values, please proceed with caution!
- Export Option: Here you can copy/download your current option settings. Keep this safe as you can use it as a backup if anything goes wrong, or you can use it to restore your settings on this site or any other site.
