Carousel View Shortcode Configuration
If you wish to implement the Carousel View design on your website, you initially need to generate the appropriate shortcode. After obtaining this shortcode, you can insert it at any location on your website. This will present your directories in a Carousel style. Remember that the Carousel skin only shows the listings that have featured images.
In your WordPress admin panel navigate to Listdom → Shortcodes. Press the Add Shortcode button.
The Carousel view shortcode on the “Add New Shortcode” page, has these options:
1. Add Title: Type a name for this shortcode.
2. Skin: Select the skin type. Here we choose Carousel.
3. Style: Choose between 5 different styles for listing cards. You can select either the pre-made style or make new ones with Elementor.
👉 You can build custom styles for listing cards with Listdom Elementor Add-on.
4. Listing Per Row: Choose the number of listing cards to display per row. Options include 1, 2, 3, 4, or 6.
5. Limit: This sets the maximum number of listings to display.
6. Listing Link: Decide where the listing links will open:
- Same Window: Opens the listing detail page in the same browser window.
- New Window: Opens the listing detail page in a new window.
- Open in Lightbox: Shows the listing detail in a lightbox.
- Disabled: Deactivates the link.
👉 The Listing Link feature is only available on Listdom Pro Addon.
7. Display Labels: Determine whether to display the listing labels on the image or not. this option is disabled while the style 2 is selected.
8. Display Share Buttons: Enabling this option adds a share icon to each item. Hovering over this icon reveals the share buttons.

Finally, click the Publish button.
To exhibit your listings in Carousel view using this shortcode, you can place it at any desired location on your website.
