Settings and Options
To use the List View skin on your site, first, you should make the appropriate shortcode. Then you can put that shortcode anywhere on your site and the directories will be shown in List view.
In your WordPress admin panel navigate to Listdom → Shortcodes. Press the Add Shortcode button.
The List View shortcode on the “Add New Shortcode” page, has these options:
1. Add Title: Type a name for this shortcode.
2. Skin: Select the skin type. Here we choose List View.
3. Style: Choose between 3 different styles for listing cards. You can select either the pre-made styles or make new ones with Elementor.

4. Map Provider: In List view, you can add a map on top of the listing items or under them. The map will show the items based on their location. Like any other of Listdom map, you can select the source of it. Google Maps and Leaflet (OpenStreetMap) are available map options. The settings of the map are surrounded by a dashed border. Also, you can disable the map and show only the listing items in List view.
👉 The Leaflet is only available on Listdom Pro Addon.
If the Leaflet is selected, the Map Style, Bubbles, and Map Search options are disabled.
If the map is disabled, all of its related options will be hidden.
5. Position: Determine the position of the map related to the listing items.
- Show Before List View: Shows the map on top of the items.
- Show After List View: Shows the map under the items.
6. Map Style: Change the default style of Google Maps. Here you can choose one of these choices:
- Default Style
- Apple Maps Esque
- Blue Essence
- Blue Water
- CDO
- Intown Map
- Light Dream
- Midnight
- Pale Down
- Shades of Grey
- Subtle Grayscale
- Ultra Light

7. Clustering: This feature groups markers on the map into clusters when viewed from a zoomed-out perspective. Each cluster displays a number, indicating the number of markers it contains. As you zoom in on a cluster, the number decreases and individual markers begin to emerge. Zooming out regroups the markers back into clusters.
8. Bubbles: Change the style of the cluster bubbles. It has three classic, modern, and clean styles.

9. Marker/Shape On Click: This option determines the action after clicking the listing icons on the map.
- Open Info Window: Displays a summary of the listing item in a map popup.
- Redirect to Listing Details Page: Navigates to the detailed page of the listing.
- Open Listing Details in Lightbox: Presents the full details of the listing in a lightbox (without page reload).
- None: No action is taken.
10. Map Search: This feature allows users to filter listings based on the current map position. The user can drag the map and find the wanted location and the listings will be filtered to show only the available ones in that area.
👉 The Map Search feature is only available on Listdom Pro Addon.
11. Map Limit: This setting determines the count of the listing items on the map. Increasing the limit to more than 300 may slow down page loading. It’s recommended to use filter options to display only the desired listings.
12. Advanced Map add-on features: The following 5 features are added by the Listdom Advanced Map add-on. Learn more about these features.
- Marker Type
- Infowindow Style
- External Direction Link
- Global Restrict Bounds
- Auto GPS

13. KML Layers: Select the KML layers added to the site. Learn more.
👉 The KML Layers are available in the Listdom KML Add-on.
14. Limit: This sets the number of listings displayed before loading more.
15. Pagination Method: By default, the number of listings is limited to the set amount. You can choose how to display additional items.
- Load More Button: Adds a ‘Load More’ button at the end of the list.
- Infinite Scroll: Loads more items as you scroll down.
- Disabled: No additional items are added to the list.
16. Listing Link: Choose where the listing links will open:
- Same Window: Opens the listing detail page in the same browser window.
- New Window: Opens the listing detail page in a new window.
- Open in Lightbox: Shows the listing detail in a lightbox.
- Disabled: Disables the link.
17. Display Image: This option allows you to disable the listing image.
👉 The Listing Link and Display Image features are only available on Listdom Pro Addon.
18. Image Method: If the listing has an image gallery, this option can display the gallery instead of the feature image. It shows a slider with navigation arrows on the card.
19. Display Labels: Choose whether to display the listing labels on the image.
20. Display Share Buttons: Enabling this option adds a share icon to each item. Hovering over this icon reveals the share buttons.
21. Display Matched Bookables: This option shows the Matched Bookables. Learn more.
👉 The Display Matched Bookable Option is available in the Listdom Booking Add-on.

Finally, press the Publish button.
To use this shortcode and display the listings in List View, you can place the shortcode anywhere on your site.
